While the water may not be as clear as the Caribbean it the views all fit the aesthetics and make it feel sophisticated. Featuring three bedrooms, four bathrooms, kitchens and multiple outdoor areas with scenic views, we’d love to live in this home (or at least AirBNB it for a month).
The Black Villa
If Black is still the new Black for you (cheesy we know), then you’re going to find this home right up your alley. Built in 2020 this New York Villa was designed by famous architect Reza Mohtashami. Mohtashami has built homes all over the World, including the Grand Canyon. Honestly, we could probably feature all of his work here and fit the unique aesthetic headline of this blog. His homes are all unique and blend innovatively with the natural surroundings around it.
We love the minimalism and how clean the villa looks. It looks sleek and spacious while nothing stands out as annoying or overbearing. Being in the woods and so well blended with nature also lends itself to how calming this home is. While it does lack some personality from the pictures, we can still appreciate the beauty of it.
The Fin
Sticking with the unconventional theme, this ‘home’ features even more unconventional aspects. For one, it’s triangular shaped from multiple viewpoints – still it retains a cozy sense of homeliness that makes it all work. It feels like living in a TeePee that has been fully converted to a home – a lifelong dream of many of us as children.
Nestled in a New Zealand island is where you’ll find this home. Featuring an almost fully white interior in stark difference to the Black Villa this home. You’ll also get tons of sunlight with the open faced windows featured on the front of the home – and we’re not complaining about that when you’re surrounded by island nature. The home was designed by Chris Tate, who again, has built a number of homes that could make this list.
